About Me
About Me
StoutPanda is a sysadmin, IT manager, and developer dedicated to keeping systems and business processes running reliably—and always looking for ways to improve them.
He leads a small team supporting allied businesses, managing everything from on-prem and cloud infrastructure to SaaS platforms and custom development. He sets IT strategy, oversees budgets and vendors, and handles everything from documentation to process refinement and emergency troubleshooting.
He’s bridged the gap between “it works” and “it works for everyone, every time,” driving automation, data engineering, and reporting initiatives. He prioritizes practical solutions that save time and reduce risk, but knows when a manual review is essential.
After hours, he manages technology, accounting, and operations for a family-run furniture repair business.
He’s overseen legacy server migrations, enterprise application rollouts, and built custom automation scripts, data pipelines, and tooling. Notably, he co-developed and managed a full-lifecycle onboarding application that processed over 78,000 new hires before its retirement. He thrives on tackling unusual technical challenges.
Outside of work, he enjoys board games, home lab tinkering, and good coffee.
